My husband and I are getting divorced and have 4 children under the age of 12. We have not been able to reach an agreement on custody and temporary orders  included that joint physical custody be granted. In addition, there are "parentling evaluations" scheduled . What is a "Parenting evaluation" and what kinds of questions should I expect? Will there be an opportunity for me to provide the evaluator with inforation? Thank you!

ive been working as a delivery driver for the same company for 6 yrs. now. is it true that they have to give me 2 weeks paid vacation by law? they currently only give me 7 days.

I recently filed to relocate myself and my son to California. After his father and I could not agree on the move, the case was given to the judge for decision and it was declined. According to our parenting plan, neither parent is allowed to take the child out of state for vacation. My mom, whom has helped me raise my son since age 1, is wanting him to visit but without his dad's approval he is not able to go. Would my mom be able to file for grand parent's rights? And would this allow for him to be able to travel to California for vacation? All advice appreciated.

I built a room in the backyard of my grandfathers home. I paid for everything myself . My grandfather pointed to a space in back where I could build me a room for me and my two kids. Recently my grandfather has became really sick and the ownership of the home has changed hands which are my uncle and aunt, what are my rights and is my room still mines? My husband and I are being sued by my husband's mother for visitation of our 1-year-old son. We were not married at the time the petition was filed, but we have since been married. A judgment has yet to be made, however my husband has recently been offered a job opportunity in another state that requires we relocate before our next court date. We are in the process of notifying the court, however we fear his mother will object to the transfer and not allow us to relocate to another state. Does his mother have the right to keep us from relocating?

I have a court date coming up in a few days for a petition for Emergency custody my wife has asked her attorney for. I am looking for a paid attorney for myself, I think I have found one but she wont be able to do so for about a week or two, so she said to request the courts grant a continuance to give her time to prep for my defense. I am wondering how I can go about requesting this without a lawyer present? Will the judge be able to do this?

I have been renting this house for the past 18 months. April 25th a man showed up at the door and said that he is the owner of the house and said that my family and I have 10 days to vacate the house. He had a piece of paper with some other name on it and a different address. He crossed out that name and address and put my name and address. He said that if I can be out in 10 days he would pay $300 for the rental truck. I called the landlord and she said that is the owner and yes he plans on fixing up the house and selling it. I am a Registered Nurse and have worked continuously as a RN in the Phoenix area for 37 years. This year a requirement for proof of citizenship is required. I have my Certified birth Certificate but it is not acceptable by the State Board of Nursing because my first and middle names are reversed from what the Arizona State Board of Nursing have on file. The only documentation I received to verify the change was my social security card. I am a Medicare Benificiary and I receive Social Security Benefits. I have been researching the accepted lists for proof of citizenship and find that Arizona states if you have been accepted into the Medicare program no other proof of citizenship is required. I have been a Medicare Benificiary since I was 65, a total of 6 years. However, the Arizona State Board of Nursing lists do not include enrollment in Medicare as proof of Citizenship. What can I do to prove I am a United States Citizen?
